May 21st-May 27th - Cookie Dough's Birthday & Emergency Room!

I waited until midnight so that I could wish my kitty Cookie Dough a HaPpY 16th Birthday!! Cookie Dough has been a part of my life for the past sixteen years! I watched my kitty Sasha give birth to her and we have been by each other's sides and in each other's hearts ever since! I love her more than can be imagined!

I was sad I had to leave to go back to LA on her birthday but we gave her presents and I cuddled with her before I left!

The next day I was on hold to work for Cherokee uniforms but did not end up confirming. That morning we went to Caffe Primo and then I headed to a go-see for BedHead PJs. I felt like I was on America's Next Top Model because when I got to the casting this is what I saw:

I had to quickly drive to the new location but I made it there on time since I had been early! Later we went to the Sunset Marquis and Mike recognized Gabriel Byrne walking by. All of a sudden Mike got a call from Tony saying he was bringing Jeff to the hospital! He was not feeling well, he lost his color in his face, was sweating and his arms were numb. We got to the emergency room at about 10:30pm or so and when we left him there at 2:00am they still did not know what was wrong with him.

The next morning we got a call that he had a heart attack! He is thirty-two years old and in shape, the doctors were baffled. We stopped quick at Caffe Primo to get breakfast and saw David Guetta going into the gym. When we got to the hospital Jeff was in good spirits and nonchalantly told us that he had a blood clot in his aorta that they could not get through. He was on blood thinners and they were monitoring him a lot. We stayed with him most of the day and then the guys did work which is what Jeff wanted them to do anyway haha

Friday Mike and Tony had a meeting at Paramount studios and it was really cool there. That day I was on hold to work for TiLLY'S again but did not end up confirming that job either. Afterwards we visited Jeff in the hospital again and then the guys had a writing session and I went to dinner at Spoon by H with my friend Erica!

The next morning at Caffe Primo we saw Clint Eastwood's daughters there. Later we hiked Runyon Canyon again which is always a good workout and a beautiful view. For dinner we went to Cravings restaurant on Sunset Boulevard where we have been before and it was really good!

On Sunday Mike, Tony and I went to Mel's for lunch and Tony Cox from Bad Santa was there too. Afterwards we went to tour a studio in North Hollywood and then went to Urth Caffe in Santa Monica where we saw actress Mena Suvari and later saw actor Dev Patel there who was in two movies I love Slumdog Millionaire and The Last Airbender.

Then we picked up Jeff and toured a music studio in Santa Monica that was really nice. Afterwards we all headed to The Grove to see The Hangover Part III but it was sold out so we saw Star Trek which I wanted to see anyway and it was really good!

Monday was Memorial Day and my friend Erica invited me to go to a picnic with her and her husband Jason. A group of people who he went to school with got together and we had really good snacks and got to play with everyone's dogs. There was a dog park nearby and a stream so the dogs had a great time and it was fun to watch them!

I was going to be leaving LA the next day so for a treat that night we got the amazing berry waffle at Spoon by H!

Then I finished packing and got ready to go to New York City!

May 11th-May 20th - Going Home & Mother's Day!

Saturday I flew home and I was so happy that Massimo came to pick me up!

Then we went to get fresh flowers for Helen to wake up to on Mother's Day! I went home to see my Cookie Dough but my parents were out of town because my cousin Virginia who lives in Connecticut was graduating from college. Sorry I missed your graduation Virginia, I am so proud of you though! <3 While I was home I had a package of shoes I got from Modnique.com and I was surprised to see my picture with them!

I went back to Mike's house and we had a great time celebrating with Helen and his family, we had a great dinner together! The next day they had a photo shoot for the Scott Miller website and in-store pictures. The photographer was Carrie Mateosian and I have worked with her a lot, she is great! The models looked gorgeous and did a great job!

That night we were able to celebrate Mother's Day and we went to Olive Garden where my Mom and I love getting soup, salad and breadsticks! We went home and played a board game and it was so nice to be at home together. I hope you had a great day Mom, I appreciate everything you have done and do for me. I love you so much! I hope all Mothers had a nice day!

The next day I had been on hold for Trimera Group to model swimwear but did not end up confirming the job. That morning though Mike and Tony flew back to Los Angeles in Tony's Dad's jet!

Afterwards I spent the day with Massimo, we took a nap and played outside which was so much fun!

Tuesday was Sarah's dog Ernie's birthday! I have not seen him in a while, I miss him. I was so happy I got to spend the next couple of days at home and with my kitty though! Then on Thursday I had a casting for a Duff & Phelps financial advisory and investment banking firm ad at Meyers Creative Imaging where I have done shoots before!

On Friday I worked at Scott Miller with my friend Irma and we had such a great time working together!  At night I went out with Mike's family and some friends to celebrate Carin's birthday! Carin is an incredible wardrobe consultant/stylist and we had a great dinner at Good Luck, it was a lot of fun!

The next day my Mom had her 6th degree black belt test! My Dad and I were nervous but excited for her! When she was on the floor and they were telling her what katas to perform my heart was racing and I was hoping she would remember everything. As soon as she started and was doing amazing I knew she would rock the whole test! Congratulations Mom, I admire you!

Sunday was both my mother agent Chantale Nadeau and my Uncle Roscoe's birthdays! <3 I spent the whole day at home but at one point we went for a hike which was really nice!

The next day was my last day home before I left to make a quick trip back to LA. My best friend Liz and I went to lunch at Aladdin's on the canal which was really nice! I had their fruit and yogurt dish that is really good.

Then my Dad and I went to Dr. Dodge the chiropractor and later we went to the park near my house to see the swans!

At night I finished packing to leave the next day!

May 3rd-May 10th - Fun Times In LA!

Friday morning I had a casting for Eight Sixty and I tried on some cute outfits. Later for dinner we went to Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood and one of the workers told us about a contest where you can Instagram a picture of you with their burger and be entered to win a trip.

The next day I met up with a friend who I went to college with and she has been living in LA. Angela recommended we meet at a place called Toast and it was so good! We sat outside and had a great time catching up!

At night Mike, Tony and Jeff were invited to a house party in the hills to watch the Mayweather vs Guerrero fight so I went with them. The host was a songwriter that they had a session scheduled with and the house and backyard were beautiful!

Afterwards we all went out to the W hotel for a rooftop party with friends and met up with songwriter Nate Walka. It was really nice and we had a lot of fun!

Sunday was Cinco de Mayo and I went to the trading market to get my Mom a really pretty round terrarium that I saw there before as a Mother's Day gift! Later Mike, Tony and I went to The Americana at Brand shopping center to look around because Tony had not been there yet.

Monday morning I was driving listening to Mariah's new song "Beautiful" when Ford called me. They said that they knew I would probably not be comfortable with it but that I booked the Abercrombie campaign! I could not believe out of all the people that they chose me! Unfortunately it was going to be implied nudity and with a male model which I am not interested in so I had to turn it down. I am very appreciative that I was offered the job though!

That morning I went to a casting for JustFab.com who Kimora Lee Simmons is the President of. They had me try on a pair of jeans and heels which were both amazing and they took pictures. When I got back to the apartment Mike found out that he won the Hard Rock Cafe contest!! It seemed too good to be true but it was official Hard Rock Cafe said that they would treat him and a guest to an all-inclusive trip to Punta Cana!

I stopped by the agency and then we went to go eat at Aroma on Sunset Boulevard which was really good. Later we went to our friend Tim's house and hung out with him and his roommates until Mike and Tony had to do some work. The next day they had a session with the Sledge Grits Band which is a very talented group!

That day I was on hold for Inside Weddings magazine which would have been amazing but I did not end up booking it, maybe in the future! At night we all went out to Saddle Ranch and watched people ride the bull and sing karaoke which was fun. On Wednesday the guys had a meeting at Sony that went really well!

During the day I went shopping for some clothes for a shoot I had the next day. That night a hilarious thing happened, we knew that Hollywood Boulevard was closed that night but Tony forgot and went to try to go get his Mom a present. He said he was on his phone not paying attention and walked around barricades and through groups of people and all of a sudden felt bright lights on him. It turns out he accidentally walked onto the set of filming Muppets Most Wanted! They ended up having him stay while they had already started filming the scene so he might end up in the movie!

The next day I had a shoot with photographer Kacie Tomita! We shot against buildings on Melrose Avenue and she was really cool!

After Mike and I went to Mel's diner and I had pressed juice and we shared a milkshake. Later for dinner we met up with Erica at Mo's in Burbank, California. It was a lot of fun and we finished with one of the sweetest desserts I'be ever had, a pecan pie with ice cream!

On Friday Mike flew back to New York to surprise his Mom for Mother's Day and I had a casting for Nike. I was not sure if I was going to stay for a few more days because I was on hold for a job but last minute Ford said I could go home so I quickly packed up everything!

Tuesday 2 July 2013

April 26th-May 2nd - Laguna Beach & Runyon Canyon!

Friday morning we went to The Griddle Cafe for brunch and I ordered their buttermilk pancakes not knowing that you get three the size of a whole pizza! I ate one and it was delicious but I was stuffed so I gave the other two to a homeless man who enjoyed them so I was glad!

During the day I went to a go-see for Stella & Dot and I do not have my ears pierced but I told them that I would get them done if I booked the job. After we went to The Americana at Brand outdoor mall to shop and get a bite to eat.

On Saturday we drove to Newport Beach, California where Mike's cousin Sylvie lives and got to see her apartment. Then she took us to Fashion Island shopping center! We went into some stores and spent most of our time at a pet store where the animals were too cute!

I had never been to Laguna Beach before and it was close by so we decided to head there for dinner. Driving along the coast the view was so beautiful!

First we stopped at this cute chocolate store and got some toffee that was beyond incredible!

Saturday night was not the best to go on a whim as all the restaurants were on two hour waits but Tommy Bahama had a restaurant with a short wait so we ate there. I had truffle mac and cheese and  brussels sprouts which were very good and then we had a second dessert!

On our way back to the car I stopped in a store that had evening gowns and I found one that I love! Then we went back to Sylvie's and hung out for a little before going back to Hollywood. It was so much fun catching up with Sylvie! Sunday was my friend Lauren's birthday! She was one of my roommates in Singapore and I hope she had a great day! :) That afternoon Mike and I watched the movie Rise of the Guardians and it was really cute!

For dinner we ate at Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood and then walked around the shopping center at Highland Avenue before him and Tony met up to work.

Monday I worked for Modnique.com again, I am so thankful to be able to work with such a fun and sweet crew! I modeled three lines: Blaque Market, Torn and Bleulab!

For dinner we went to Cafe Med and then sat on the balcony and Mike smoked a cigar and I ate applesauce haha

The next day we went to Spoon by H on Beverly Boulevard which is my favorite cafe and got their unbelievable waffle with fruit!

On Wednesday we went to Olive & Thyme and went to go look at an apartment before going to a music industry event at Vintage King.

Tony and Jeff met us there and then after they worked for the rest of the night. The next day we finally hiked at Runyon Canyon! It was so difficult but it was a beautiful view and a good workout!
