Jan27-Feb1 - Birthday Celebrations!

On Friday night the band Endyga was performing at Water Street Music Hall and Mike was mixing the music for it. I made it there right when they started their first song and I stood by the sound board with our friend Dave. Endyga did awesome and Mike made them sound amazing!

The next day was the day before Mike's birthday and at night his Parents, Sister, Uncle and I went to Max to have an early celebration. Max is such a nice restaurant that we have been to before and their food is delicious.

That night I stayed up until midnight to wish Mike a Happy Birthday! On Mike's birthday in the morning some family went over and we all got together and ate breakfast at his house. Afterwards he showed everyone some music he has been making in his studio. A little while later Mike told his family that he really wanted all of us to go to IHop together and we did! This was a moment to document that all of Mike's family was going to IHOP, so I took a picture of the Millers heading in!

When we walked in they said we could sit at a table but that it would be about an hour wait for food! We decided to stay anyway for Mike's birthday and we only waited a little over a half an hour. The pancakes were a little undercooked but we had fun together and it was good.

Afterwards we all made a Wegmans grocery store trip to finish getting things ready for dinner that night! We got back to the house and hung out and Mike opened presents and a couple of friends came over. Thanks to his parents there was a homemade dinner of chicken cutlets, mashed potatoes and green bean casserole! Later we enjoyed Mike's chocolate and Reese's cup cakes mmmm!

Afterwards we all hung out and watched videos until it was time to go home before the roads got any worse. The next day I was home hanging out with my Parents and Cookie Dough and did some cleaning.

On the 31st I actually worked out on the elliptical with Mike which is something I wish I did more often! Later at night we went out to eat at Plum Garden for an early celebration of my Dad's birthday the next day. My Dad had never sat at a hibachi table before so we booked one and had a great time! The chef did really cool tricks with the cooking utensils and food! One of my favorites was the onion volcano.

We all hung out a little while afterwards and Mike got some belated birthday gifts. The next day was my Dad's Birthday! He is not one for really celebrating his birthday but I always like to celebrate any occasion, especially the day a loved one was born! haha

During the day we hung out at home and later for dinner my Parents, Mike and I went to Bocaccinis Italian Bistro that we really like!

Mike and I split butternut squash raviolis and eggplant parmesan which are two of my favorite dishes! For dessert we had a delicious cheesecake which is one of the few desserts that my Dad enjoys. We gave him presents even though he didn't want any and we had a really good night!
